Pay attention to what she is saying and take cues from her answers so that you know how to continue the conversation. Maintain control of the conversation the entire time. This gives you an air of self-confidence. Be the first to leave the conversation. Tell her that you liked talking to her and wished you had more time. See what she says. She may offer an email address or calling card so that you can reach her. You can also give her your card with your email address and ask her to contact you if she wants to stay in touch. This is a non-threatening but assertive approach on how to talk to a woman. It exudes confidence and does not make you seem needy, desperate or negative - three things that turn a woman off more than anything else. You may get her number, or you may not.
