Adam: Hello, this Adam speaking with the author of the Global Warming Survival Bible. Steve, when will global warming affect us?

Steve: Global warming has already started affecting us and has already made many victims. Entire bodies of water have disappeared. Stronger and stronger heat waves make victims all over the world. And in the next few years global warming will start affecting all of us on a more personal level. Were only a short time away from the moment when we will see colossal changes around us and life will never be the same again. And the reason I say that is: we are already seeing that hurricanes are now much stronger than in the past, earthquakes are more frequent and have more intensity, and chaotic climate phenomena are common: such as no snow at the Olympic games in February, and instead, at that same time, there are snow storms in the southern United States where there shouldnt be any.

What this means to people is that this upwards trend for this kind of phenomena will start to impact their lives more and more. Which really means that dangers to themselves and their close ones will become greater.

As an example, there are areas that are prepared to deal with hurricanes, but weve seen recently (and this will become a growing trend), that hurricanes become common place in areas where there havent been any before. And these people are for the most part - unprepared on what to do when a hurricane hits. Now, hurricanes are bad news to begin with, but when they hit an area not prepared for them, the results are much, much worse. And hurricanes are just one example of the multitude of dangers that will increasingly threaten us in the future and they include not only climate and weather events, but all aspects of life from the cost of tap water to your job, and from the electricity supply to your life savings.
