Walking for what seemed like miles Kaiel thought they were never going to find the Tyrannosaur when, after stumbling over a log Kaiel looked up to see a huge head before him, mouth opened wide and teeth dripping with the blood of a fresh kill.

Not even frightened from the surprise Kaiel looked at Max Will his family be nearby? Quite possibly exclaimed Max.

Now unable to take his eyes off the fresh carcass before him Kaiels temperament changed and he became fearful You are sure he cannot see us he said all the while watching new chunks getting stuck in the Tyrannosaurs teeth. Im sure, do not fret.

Suddenly a smaller figure appeared out of the brush and ran towards the Tyrannosaur. After he had composed himself and stopped shaking Kaiel saw that it was a baby Tyrannosaur. Running to his father he opened his mouth and let out a high-pitched shriek. Looking at his son the Tyrannosaur pulled off a large piece of flesh and chewed it in his mouth for a while before dropping it into the open jaws of his sons mouth.

Looking satiated the young dinosaur wrapped himself around his fathers feet while his father ate his fill. Kaiel couldnt help but think how much this little dinosaur was loved and taken care of. He had always thought dinosaurs were abandoned after the egg had hatched or been laid even.

Wheres the female? exclaimed Kaiel. Somewhere nearby I would have thought replied Max. We can go look for her if you like.

Creeping away unnecessarily they turned their attention to an open field in the distance and saw a dinosaur laid down in the middle. On closer inspection Kaiel was disappointed to find that it was not the female Tyrannosaur but still curious approached the dinosaur regardless. Noticing his curiosity Max exclaimed This dinosaur is a Stegosaurus. Ive heard of that one replied Max isnt that the dinosaur that supposedly had a fight with the Tyrannosaur and won?

So goes the tale Max replied as he scoped out the dinosaur. Realising the dinosaur was injured though not mortally Max had Kaiel help him scour the dinosaur to find out the severity of the wounds. Most were just slight flesh wounds that appeared to have been caused by sharp teeth.

Max! Kaiel shouted in alarm pointing a little further into the distance. Both jumped up assured that the Stegosaurus was in no immediate danger and bolted towards the direction that Kaiel had pointed out.

Lying not too far from the Stegosaurus was the female Tyrannosaur, alive but slightly more injured. Looks like we just missed the battle you were talking about said Max solemnly.

Will they be okay? asked Max upset at his discovery. We can call their families before we leave and they will tend to them, none are mortally wounded and will recover though what caused them to attack each other baffles me said Max shrugging his shoulders.

After doing so Kaiel still rubbing at his back from the t-shirt chaffing him realised that Max was not just a logo on his t-shirt but his friend as well.
