The question that always follows a maverick scenario is when one dies are they regarded perfect or it's a proverbial situation that no one should be regarded bad when they die as the Shona adage simply stipulate Afa Anaka (one who has died is good)? At last when we die we have the dear angels for our escort on the way .They who can grasp the whole world in their hands can surely guard our souls that they make that last journey safely. Death is the port where all may refuge; find the end of labor, entry to rest.

Behold! The grave yard is the richest place in the world with business people, murders, prostitutes, pastors, lying there making the balance of them all? It's a taboo to hear that if a person has died people mentioning negative things about them .The issue continues to hammer controversy why always shower good sentiments about the dead? Does it reflect that people should always express good things to them or this emanates from our cultural norms and values where our societies have molded us along those lines?

What if one has to stand up and say the negative part of the departed? The only scenario which I have witnessed is when mourners are allowed to state credit issues only not other things. If you ask are you going to be chased away from the society of what?

Many questions comes to the fore, now in the wake of Pastors, witnesses, friends ,relatives showering in positive messages at funerals to the dead. We are pained with the sad loss of our beloved friend he was humbled ,he was a good fellow, peace and loving hence sidelining the negatives yet the departed has left a hectic life history. I have attended many funeral ceremonies in different societies where in some cases my stomach was in knots as I thought bad messages can be eluded at the grave yards but surprisingly people expressed goodness about the dead. The whole issue makes me ponder for a while that then if everyone is recommended with good sentiments the days they die then Heaven is for them all. Many questions continue to hammer my mind as I leave this concept for debate.
