paying for something you may not enjoy and eventually stop...money down the drain!

There are many Spanish courses that offer a free mini course and these are great for testing out those specific courses. The other point you should take note of is that the BBC are teaching Castilian Spanish, which is the form of Spanish spoken in Spain itself, and it is also Castilian that is used as the base language for all other Spanish dialects and regional variations.
