Sandstones are sedimentary rocks that are composed of sand and quartz

. This stone forms naturally anywhere on the earth, irrespective of the weather conditions and place. Therefore, they are found almost everywhere, be it in river, ocean or desert. It is mostly found in Algeria,Scotland, Shellata, India and Jurjura.

Typically, sandstone does not include any particular mineral, but there are still some other minerals such as clays, hematite, feldspar,limonite and mica, which determine the color and character. Variation in these minerals brings variety of sandstone colors and patterns. Because of their toughness and natural beauty they are used for many purposes.

Flooring - Sandstones make a very good paver, floor and roof. Being a strong stone it is a perfect material for places where strength is needed. It is found in varieties of colors and patterns, allowing you to choose the best one matching home interior or exterior. Hence, they are good choice as a decorative material.

Walls "" Sandstone has a unique property of binding with cement firmly. Also, they last very long which make sandstone a perfect option for walls, pillars, beams, wall facings, garden furniture, arches, arts & crafts, landscaping products, etc.

Fireplaces "" These stones can bear heat of any level and therefore are also preferred for fireplaces. Red and yellow sandstones are just perfect match with fire waves. Using these thermal resistant natural stones can create an idea fireplace to enjoy.

Chemical Industries "" As said above sandstone can form anywhere, so chemicals like acid and alkali cannot damage sandstone. This property is well utilized in chemical industries. There these stones are used for flooring, wall fixing and lining.

Resistant to Corrosion and weathering "" Because sandstones form automatically anywhere in any environment, they can resist corrosion and ill-effects of weather. That is why they are preferred for paving, slabs, tiles and blocks.
