Today we are exploring the web like anything. The internet population is growing at an immense rate and there are lots of predictions made on its future but nothing can be made certain of this marvelous phenomenon of 20th century.

Originally the World Wide Web was developed as channel of transmitting information via publishing their stuff on internet. Later it got into more deeper things that includes search, ecommerce, social networking and lot more.

Today we stand in such a complex platform of web that we sometimes get confused which part should be embraced all left out.

I would say that the big players of internet are trying hard to make the web a complete virtual world.

Its quite clear that ecommerce is growing big although it cannot sell those products which are totally purchased on physical intimation but the time is not far where you can buy a needle to elephant over these stores.

The prime objective of the major web entrepreneurs whether they are in search, social is to turn everything which exists in the physical world over the web. This means you apply for job online, you interview online and even you do the job online.

This is quite interesting as we have offshore professionals who apply for jobs, get them and perform them remotely.

Whatever industry you try and it will show you that how e-governance is playing a key role in shaping the economy of a nation. Its been found that the countries where the internet penetration is high and increasing are subjected to more development and innovation.

Leading internet population with China, USA, and Europe do prove this point as these are the market places where all trading is done online.

Today we transfer the money online, if you remember the old cheques which are issued and you need to collect and go back to the bank to drop them. Its quite remarkable that web has reduced the logistics costs to a great extend.

In some leading companies which do invest heavily in enhancing their information technology department, its been found that they save a lot of money with its help. There are ample proof where the normal bills (electricity, water, telephone etc.) are paid through ECS (Electronic clearance system) so neither the entrepreneurs or their consumers need to touch base on the billing as everything is done automatically.

Hence the web can lead us to a way where we can solve almost all our worldly issues momentarily. The problem lies in devising a proper structure for its further development, security and awareness amongst the internet community.

I am sure web will surpass all mass media elements newspaper, TV, radio which is quite distinct if you see the ratings of video networking sites in terms of traffic.
