Some years ago I worked for a company who manufactured kitchen Appliances

That actually helped to quickly distinguish between the good and the bad printers. One of them turned out to be little more than a man in his back shed. Whilst another of the great company's appeared so arrogant that he would never have wanted to get our company brochure printed with in any case.

Just make sure that you have taken the trouble to check out brochure samples and that you get on with the company who are going to produce your brochure.
Other than that, don't fall for a brochure printing price which is overly cheap -- there's usually a good reason why they are undercutting the market.
