Go to your local newsagent or library and check out what's available. Whatever subject you decide on, a magazine is proof that it is in demand. When you have made your choice order 6-12 back issues plus the current one and start your research.

Of course if your budget is a big issue, then you can still surf the net for your information.

You will now have a huge amount of information to sift through and as you have chosen something you are really interested in, you won't even feel like you are working. Spend about a week collating all the best stuff and note any subjects which are written about every week. This will be a very popular topic. Why else would they keep writing about it? Make a note of the websites listed. Concentrate and absorb the information.

Now you have collated all this information, you have to decide what product you are going to create with it.You could use it for your weekly newsletter, write a book or even a home study course.

If your budget allows it, you could advertise your finished product in the magazine where you got the information from in the first place. After all you are right in the centre of your prospects and highly targeted. The cheapest place to advertise your product is obviously your website and around the internet in various places. You could also check out the list of websites you made earlier. The more specific the website is to your product, the hotter the prospects.

Don't be put off creating your own product if it seems a huge undertaking. As long as you are enjoying the research and have a passion for the subject, you are half way there.You will never know unless you try.

Don't put yourself under too much pressure to make it perfect. Have fun and your venture could well lead to you producing a product that will bring you an income for years to come.
