Flying in a hot air balloon with just you and your loved one can be one of the most romantic trips of your life. Consequently it's a great setting for a proposal. As you push up off the ground you'll have butterflies in your stomach but those will soon dissipate as you share a bottle of champagne before you pop the question. You'll feel like the king and queen of the world as you look down on everyone below you and this will add to the once in a lifetime euphoria that you'll feel when your partner agrees to spend the rest of their life with you.

In A Park

The benefit of proposing in a park is that it's likely to catch your partner by surprise, and as a result they're likely to be genuinely swept off their feet. Of course, it's important to make sure that everything comes together when you're there - the weather is appropriate and there are no smelly old tramps likely to jump in and ruin the moment, even if they are trying to be nice. Consequently it might be a good idea to do it in the evening under the stars, possibly after you've shared a dinner together and are sauntering home arm in arm.

On A Rollercoaster

Let's be honest: this isn't the conventional option. However, if it's the surprise element that you value you're not going to surprise your partner any more than if you're sitting at the top of the big dipper and about to plummet towards the earth. You have to make sure you can actually ask the question and that the force of gravity doesn't make you just screech at them as you proffer the ring, and that they can also say "yes". Furthermore, you need to make sure that you don't drop the ring as that would be disastrous. Clearly, taking a ring is risky, but with the level of shouting going on it's pretty necessary as your partner might not get what you're asking them.
