Which computer should I buy, this is fairly easy if you have had computers in the past but if you are just now considering your first one then it is unfortunately very confusing with all the deferent makes, and types that are now available. Obviously you want the best; however what the term best' means to one person will not be the same to another, also budget plays a large part in what computer you will have. Memory is the part that the CPU use's to store its data in until it requires it to carry out a task. Typically specified as to size (megabyte, gigabyte) and also to the speed it will work at, again different types are now on the market DDR, DDR2 etc.
Hard drive this is the item that stores all your programs, documents and applications that you will use. Come in various makes and sizes, common today is gigabyte and terabyte size drives using various drive speeds. Talk to friends and workmates who maybe already have a computer and are use to using it, try theirs and find out as much information as you can before letting your hard earned money out of your pocket.
