Which Is The Best CECT iPhone Clone Of 2010?

People often ask me which CECT clone I find to be the "best." This is a loaded question because the best phone for one consumer may not be the best model for someone else. Which phone works out to be your best fit is going to depend on the features that you hold most dear and use the most.

At the end of the day, most all of the CECT phones will: offer you dual sim slots; get you online; let you send emails and texts; let you enjoy movies music and other media; let you download and play java games / applications; and let you easily take and share photos and videos. Most of the CECT phones have ebook readers and radios also. So, most of them do the same thing. The real question is the packaging or housing that holds all of these features and the firmware that carries these things out.

Why Upgrades And New Versions Of The P168 Are Always Well Received And Are Usually Considered The Best: Actually, most of the clones which eventually become popular are newer versions of the iClone that started it all (which was the P168.) But while that phone was considered innovative and cutting edge back then, it would be inadequate today. It was only a tri band. And, it didn't have shake and tilt or WiFi.

So, while the P168 certainly isn't considered the best clone today, many of the models that came after it and were "upgrades" of it are considered to be among the best. Good examples of the are the CECT i9 and the sciphone i68+ (and all of the later versions that came behind these.) The firmware on the i9 and the sci were well received and these models were sleek and light weight. Of the two, the i9 is the more brisk seller. I think that this is mostly because of it's light size and it's ability to easily switch back and forth between the sim cards.

Earlier versions of the i9 did not contain WiFi, but the newer versions (like the i9+++) do. With that said, the i9, although sleek and light compared to earlier models, isn't considered to be a mini and it's certainly not the thinnest clone out there today. So, I'll move on to the smaller models now.

The Newer, Smaller Clones Which Might Be Best For You: I find that, more and more, people who like the clones generally form two camps. Everyone likes the fact that the clones give you the features without the price tag and commitment. But, not every one continues to like the traditional housing of the full sized phones. Some people really want a scaled down model that easily fits in a pocket and doesn't have the bulk and the weight of the more traditional models.

For those folks, the KA08 and the airphone are both good options. If you're looking for the smallest model, then the KA08 may make you happy. It's considered to be a true mini and it only weighs 68 ounces. I would describe these phones as "cute" because they are not only smaller, but most of them come in a variety of non traditional colors that the purist have a hard time with.

However, some people really want a full sized screen for videos and web browsing, but they want the skinniest, thinnest model that is available. For those folks, the airphone is a nice option. It is super slim and it has a 3.5 inch screen so you are sort of getting the best of both worlds. However, the tradeoff with the airphone is that it's only a single sim phone. Because it's so skinny, there's no room for two slots. That's not to say that the newer i9's are not considered to be thin and sleek. They are. But they do have the traditional 3.2 inch screens and aren't true minis.

Hopefully, this article has given you some information to help you decide what would be the best clone for you. It's very easy today to get all of the features that you want or need (including WiFi and preloaded applications.) The real question is often what size you want the phone to be and what you want the housing to look like.
