How Peter Drucker couldpredict about the end of the line managers since 1998?Peter called non-traditional work relations as flexible schedules, contract arrangements, and virtual teams
The different and complex system of workers, their needs and preferences, and their relationships cause organizations to change their structure according to the necessity of moving the line managers to the center of their functions.
Drucker's conclusion was people would not need managers in a traditional position anymore. The principal characteristic of the workforce would be the knowledge of their workers in diverse arrangements.
Workers would not need managers in a traditional sense; they would manage themselves.
The workforce of organizations called staff would serve to attract, track, develop and orchestrate their talents.
The new management function would connect the right people to the right place to supply the quality and quantity of the workplace to the challenging job. The other aspect would be line-like authority over the workplace.
According to Drucker's vision, the line managers would set directions and run the team of employees to their activities.
The big picture would be the new model of HR, which would permit the ground work to become more active and creative in the role of talent management.
Peter Drucker could prevent the positions changes of the line managers in the corporations without considering relevant aspects of the economy or technology.
The modern organizations would change the way they treat their employees, giving more value to them and respect more their opinions. The employees would become part of their strategy and are necessary to their success.
In a competitive advantage the corporations would create opportunities for their employees to make decisions and develop new ideas for their tasks to become more effectively. The idea of Peter Drucker would bring the line managers to the active functions and closer to the employees with less bureaucracy and more efficiency.
The workforce would contribute and participate more to the organizations with the end of the line managers, which would bring more satisfaction and cooperation of them.
I had had an opportunity to read a lot of articles about Peter Drucker theories and practices , which enriched my knowledge day by day and made me feel capable of developing my leadership style in the future with more effectiveness and success. Peter Drucker had a magic style to prevent all the aspects of business to the organizations, because with everything that is happening, we can give credibility to his thoughts and opinions.
Although the environment, technology, economy and other aspects are changing so much faster than before, Peter Drucker's predictions are always effective.
Business is becoming a faster growing science along the centuries and the manager are being adapting to the organizations to make them more successful.
