1. Fingering numbering for both hands is as follows

Thumb: 1

Index Finger: 2

Middle Finger: 3

Ring Finger: 4

Pinky Finger: 5

2. Place your thumb on the middle C on the keyboard and just follow the natural progression of your other fingers, placing them on the notes that correspond to them. Start with the left hand and do the same for the right hand and start playing the keys on the keyboard. Do this for about 15 minutes each day.

3. After you have played the white keys in a scale place your thumb on a black key and begin the same exercises again. Before you begin your practice schedule make sure you've spent about fifteen minutes practicing your finger techniques as outlined here.
