Why is a good DJ so important for your event? Does it really make a difference? There are definitely some numbers we can look at about this question.

72% of all brides say they would have spent more time choosing their reception entertainment.

Many DJ"s will hook up a I-Pod or MP3 player to some speakers and feel that they can entertain a crowd. Most DJ"s will specialize in only 1 or 2 kinds of music. This is alright is a very few occasions, but DJ"s should be vast about not only their musical taste but also their library of music.

Think about the last event you were at that there was a DJ, can you remember anything about the DJ? Did they entertain the crowd? Did they increase the fun you had? Are they remunerable at all?

The proper DJ will not only play music, but will also "host" the show as well. There will be interaction, a sense of fun, and most importantly, a respect for both the event, and the love of their job.
