Why Billions Of People Who Never Heard of Jesus Christ Will Be Saved!

But what will happen to the billions of people who have never even heard of his name, let alone his saving message? How can they be saved? Read the powerful means that Christ will insure that all will have the opportunity to hear of Him and be saved in his holy kingdom.

1st Principle. All must hear and accept Christ to be saved.

In the Romans 10:13 we read: "for whomever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (NT). So, to believe in and call on the name of Jesus Christ is absolutely required. Faith is the first principle of the gospel. By faith the worlds were and are created. Without faith, nothing can be created, particularly salvation.

2nd Principle. They must hear to believe.

If we read the next verse in Romans (10:14) it says: "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?"

Clearly, they must hear to believe. This is a big problem if we take the absolute requirement of hearing of Christ as being necessary to be saved.

3rd Principle. Billions of people have never heard of Christ.

Obviously, billions of people throughout history have never heard of Christ. Are they all consigned to hell? Will they be tortured in the flames forever? Is there no hope for them?

Even today, millions and perhaps billions know nothing about the Savior. A few may have heard his name, maybe in a profane conversation, but many have never heard his saving message.

4th Principle. All hear of Christ in the spirit world.

In 1 Peter 3:18-20 we read: 18 "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;

20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah."

So, Christ, after his death, visited the spirits in spirit prison and preached unto them. He gave them the absolute opportunity to hear His message and be saved.

So will all people have the opportunity to hear his message. Only Jesus can judge the amount of knowledge that we have received in this world. Inevitably, all will have a fair chance and be able to be saved.
