So exactly why can they not cure tinnitus? I mean modern medicine has evolved so much

, and I would expect a condition like tinnitus to at least have a cure. But doctors still proudly say that there is no cure for tinnitus! They should have some shame on their faces each time they say that. Do they think it's not a problem for the thousands of sufferers?

As a last resort, you could go to school and become a researcher. Possibly you could find a cure. That is a worthy goal, vocation, and past-time.

While it definitely impacts the lives of its victims, tinnitus is not life threatening. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't have the impact of AIDS, cancer, heart disease, etc. Tinnitus is recognized as a medical ailment. I suppose it gains the same kind of recognition as m.e. used to.
