Why Do Dogs Eat Wood
Dogs have come a long way - from surviving on their own in the wild
, dogs are now well cared pets. Since domestication, dogs have become not only well loved pets but surrogate children of their owners . As these pampered pets are considered as pseudo people, the best doggie things that will make the pet's life comfortable will be provided by the owners. Needless to say, the dog will be provided with nutritious foods.
Modern day dogs are indeed very lucky as their owner will ensure that they will never go hungry. In spite of this fact, dog owners will still see the pet eating non-food items. What will your reaction be if your dog has eaten your antique Louis XVI chair?

This is why dogs will be seen munching grasses, rocks and even feces and abhorrent rotting animals. Rotten things and feces are disgusting to us humans.
