Why Do The Domestic Abuse Victims Find It Hard To Leave Their Abuser

Domestic violence and domestic abuse is increasing across our society

. The more developed and litrate we are getting, the more criminal our attitude becomes against humanity and people of society. A statistical study by a Las Vegas domestic abuse lawyer revealed some shocking numbers in this aspect. The Las Vegas domestic violence lawyer defines that:

One out of every four women is found to be a victim of this crime.

All over the US, at least one case of such violence is registered every minute.

Average in a week, two of these abused are murdered by their spouses.

Shocking as it may seem, there are still a great number of cases which are not even registered. It is reasonable that women are weaker and can't rightly defend themselves against their attackers. There are many social welfare organizations that are working their to set free such victims from their miseries. Yet, one thing that is more shocking is that many of the victims don't want to file a case or speak against their culprits. Many of them patiently spend their entire lives with such abusive companion.

There are several reasons behind this common behavior in ladies. We must realize that such women are already under too much mental stress. Most of them are too indecisive and afraid to trust even their own selves. Plus, there are also many other factors behind this strange and illogical decision of living with such a husband.

First of all it's 'fear'. Fear can be greatly situational:

Usually the abuser threatens to harm the victim more if she attemptes to leave. He can threaten to hurt himself or their kids.

The fear of left out alone and not anle enough to raise the kids. Many of such women lack proper education and skills to earn for themselves and their family.

In case pf love marriages, ladies takes all the torture just for the reason that they don't want anyone who said 'It won't work out' to be proven right

At times other family members, neighbors and community members are not supportive, and the victim is afraid of being rejected. In many undeveloped countries, women without husbands have no respectable place in society. Hence, the women are forced to stay behind the bars of their domestic torture cell.

Then there is the emotional aspect.

In case of a medically unfit spouse, women think that it as their utmost responsibility to stay with their sick or ill husband no matter his constant abuses.

Women also think that they can help their partner get out of the psychological sickness they are in, therefore stay there in wait of significant improvement.

Most of violent husbands are not always on an abusive stance. They can also be very nice at times, thus making them forget all their pains.

Sometimes ladies don't leave because they think that it is their own mistake, and lack of abilities to deserve the abuse.

Usually women are not able to forget old romantic memories of their early after marriage days, hence fail to leave a person who once used to be loving.
