Why Does A Sign Spinner Spin?

We have all seen it some poor employee of a store standing on the corner of two

streets holding some advertising sign for hours, when what they should be instead is a sign spinner. What is a sign spinner? It is someone who spins signs, of course! But why would anyone do that? And who would have someone do that? And what would the sign say? If you have never seen one of these cool people on the streets, you are going to be in for a real treat when you do! You see, not all people standing at corners and in parking lots holding signs are the same.

A spinner is going to not only stand there, not only hold an advertising sign, but they are going to spin it, twirl it, flip it, throw it, catch it and do it all again for hours and hours sometimes. You would notice that and take note of that, wouldnt you? That is exactly the point of these peoples job. You would sit there trying to read the sign as it was spun around, right? Again, that is the point.

So many people out there are going to spot one of these sign spinners and one of the first questions they are going to have involves the sign itself. It is an advertisement for, say, a company, right? Right. And it is spinning and being tossed and twirled, right? Right. So how are other people supposed to be able to read it? What does the sign say? First of all, the signs are not going to say much maybe just the name of a company and their phone number, for example. Even though these sign twirlers are doing all kinds of fun tricks with the signs, you are still going to be able to read them. And even if you cant make out what the signs say, who cares! Look at that sign spinner!

The bottom line with all of this is that a company who hires a sign twirler is probably one that is secure, successful, confident and wants the public to notice them, of course. Anyone can stand on a corner and hold a sign. You no doubt have also seen the poor people on days that are super hot dressed in chicken outfits holding a sign for a chicken restaurant, right? Okay, so the sign twirler thing is along the same lines, except instead of turning the other way, pretending not to notice the big chicken, people will look at the twirler and look at the sign.

It is not uncommon to see people stop and watch them for a while, too. It peaks peoples curiosity about the company that has their name on the twirlers sign, and you bet that people are going to think of the sign spinners the next time they are thinking of going to that store. If the sign spinners work for a sandwich place, the next time someone feels like getting a sandwich, they are going to think of that sandwich place because of the great sign spinners they saw.
