Mumbai is the place that can be called as the HOLLYWOOD of India. Since, a long time all the films and commercials were prepared in Mumbai only. But now a day, its not only the programs which are being prepared in the Mumbai. With the opening of more and more television channels and production houses, the production is not done just for Big Screen. Many programs are prepared for TV also. These programs may have different formats.

Well, talking about the film making it is basically done in Mumbai. The main reason behind this can be that, form starting of this film making trend every work regarding this context was done in Mumbai only. The availability of things is common in Mumbai. Films are big budget and everything which is required for a film production has to be the best. Mumbai has every ingredient for the recipe of a film. From Stunt Man to Professional Editors, form Actors to Set Designers etc. all you can get on one land.

Mumbai has enormous number of studio, where the sets of the films are also prepared. As Delhi is the place for Government, Parliament, Judiciary etc in the same way Mumbai is the place for Films and TV. With the passage of time, the scenario also changes. At now its not only Mumbai who is in the field of production. Not for the films but for many television programs Delhi is also a hub. Even in Delhi also there are a lot of production houses. They make different kind of programs formats for various channels. With the opening of more and more News Channel in Delhi and NCR, this gives a lot of opportunities to the people to work in the area of production.

Film making is tuning to be a very interesting career, as now a day more and more students are choosing this area of film making as their serious profession. There are many institutes in Mumbai, Delhi, and Pune who are offering many different courses to the student in different fields in film making.

There are many studios in Mumbai which are very famous and very old. You can get any facility in Mumbai regarding film making as its not at all a new business for Mumbai people.

Mumbai is no doubt a hub for film making in India, due to easy availability of facilities and old traditional background in Film Making. Mumbai serves you different opportunities in film making but you have to be extra ordinary smart and creative to survive in this Film Line.
