This factory has also been listed as a monument of industrial archaeology by the Greek Ministry of Culture.

Olive oil soaps made in Greece are usually of the highest quality since manufacturers use natural olive oil produced under the regulations set by the Greek and European Authorities responsible for governing the cultivation, harvesting, processing of olives and olive oils. These soaps have been popular for centuries and now they are being widely used by mass consumers who have become more conscious about their health as well as the environment.
