Similarly, driving along the coast you can see many of the beaches that the area has to offer and the impressive sculptures and sights along the way. There are many great stopping points here too, from the Cascade Gardens, to the Marina with its board walk and free aviary.

Trips to other events and locations such as the theme parks or golf courses will also be much easier and ample parking is provided. And while theres so much to do on the Gold Coast, having a car with you will also give you the freedom to try a couple of days seeing some other areas in Australia. To truly get the most of your holiday at the Gold Coast then, definitely consider renting a car.
