My laptop is extremely important to me. All my work, all my social programs, contacts, emails are in there. I am constantly using it for work or for chatting with my friends. When my adapter went down it was the worst thing that could happen at the most inopportune time.

My adapter quit on me the night before a big project deadline. I was finishing a month long project and noticed that my battery life had only 15 minutes left. I had to race back to the office and finish my work which was saved onto a memory stick. I vowed never to let an adapter give me this inconvenience and added stress again.

Vowing to never let this happen again, I looked online and saw that there were tons of 402018-001 adapters available. UShopfast.com sold these adapters at at very reasonable price and had good reviews. The price of an original HP adapter was 3 times higher! I bought 3 adapters for my sanity.

The setup I have with my adapters is the most optimal. I keep one adapter at work, one at home and a spare in case one of them breaks. I take the public transit system to commute to work and it is great because I only have to bring my mini laptop sleeve with my purse. When i leave I simply unplug my laptop put it in the sleeve and go. I save time everyday by not having to plug adapters into hard to reach outlets under my desk and I do not have to coil and uncoil them each time I need to use it. The life of the adapter improves too since they are completely stationary, they do not get banged around whenever I travel to and from work.

Unlike the office I keep the adapter at home unplugged because the power outlet is very reachable. I always keep the spare at home as well to avoid problems like the one I had earlier. Time is very important and I do not need the wasted time nor the added pressure in dealing with this problem with deadlines looming. I bring the spare with me on trips so i know I will always have adapters back at home and at the office should I misplace or lose the spare adapter.
