There are no perfect relationships because there are no perfect individuals. All relationships go through various changes both good and bad and are dependent on how the couple handle their individual issues. However, not all couples are able to resolve their concerns well enough and there are times that they escalate into a more complicated situation. This usually happens due to lack of understanding and communication and when the relationship is becoming monotonous or stagnant and when this happens, one or both people in the relationship tend to become vulnerable to being seduced by factors and people around them causing them to cheat.

But then again, what is the main reason why a person cheats in the first place? Many people out there have various reasons why they cheat and though it may not always be justified, they still do it. Some factors which may influence a person into having an affair is due to lack of sexual gratification. It may seem shallow or even funny at times that this factor is considered but the truth of the matter is, it is one significant factor. Man by nature is biologically created to procreate and they do this through mating-having sex-and if this need cannot be satisfied by their immediate partner, it is likely that they will look for it from someone else. This does not only apply to sex alone but rather, it applies in general. When a person is not getting something which he or she feels he or she should be getting, there is a tendency for it to be sought somewhere else. This is not to say that the person does not love his or her current partner but rather, it is more biologically inclined in nature.

Other than the aforementioned statement, it may be that your partner was seduced by the third party because she was able to manifest a subconscious desire of the person. Your partner may also be having an affair with someone else because he has insecurities or inner conflicts which he feels could only be satisfied by doing such a thing and the sad thing is that there are really people who lack confidence and self-esteem that they have no other means to empower their ego but to commit infidelity. There are also times that your partner may be committing that just because of the simple urge to have sex and or he or she does not love you to begin with and is just playing with your feelings.

Overall, there are various reasons why a person is having an affair with someone else when he or she already has you and the only way for you to discover it is by familiarizing yourself with your partner's background and character and consistently provide his or her needs.
