One area untouched in mental health is the spiritual connection and while this continues to be so, the statistics shall escalate. One mother whose fourteen-year-old son died after jumping off a water tower asked her doctor for some explanation that would offer her some repose. His reply was that suicides are not of this world and thus respond to the call within.
Hmm, not exactly what she wanted to hear but if you think about it, none of us belongs to this world because we are all in transit. Thus, if we were all to kill ourselves it would seem a very extraordinary response to the call of eternal life and as such, the answer has to reside elsewhere.
The truth of life is we are all spiritual creations seeking sustenance but because of vagaries demanding conformity, many fall through the gaps and end their lives because they could not connect with this wild materialistic world. Capitalism, socialism, communism and religions are responsible for the drift to isolationism because not every person can be satisfied to live within the constraints of artificial borders. The reason is we are spirits desiring to roam and visit freely wherever our souls feel driven with absolute enthusiasm and the lack of this expression causes many to seek escape through self-inflicted death.
Through spiritual connectedness, we may travel and while this is weird to the uninitiated, it is the essence of life. When we learn to develop abilities to connect with our spiritual lives we shall dwell more peacefully within this fabricated world of limitations. All the healing we require is within the spiritual world of connectedness with God, and why do we deny this from happening has to be the sixty four million dollar question.
In essence then, if leaders of the world truly are serious about reducing the epidemic of suicides it shall behoove them to commence classes on meditation for all age groups and in all environments. Our spiritual souls shall find the peace they seek and then adjust to the world in which they feel unaffiliated.
Suicide will be less frequent and lives shall be happier. One final assurance if you please, stupidity is not relative to impairment just because one has mental health issues. Some or many of the most intelligent people in the world have some form of mental health troubles in their lives, as do the mediocre.
As we awaken with the clarity brought to us through spirituality, we shall attract enlightened approaches educating our awareness towards alternatives to pills. It is actually said many times that the water given with the pills has more benefits than the actual pills. In fact, in a study on comparisons of placebo versus the real thing results were highly in favour of the placebo proving we are under the influence of corruption in the medical world. So much for government agencies having our best interests at heart, maybe the back handers they receive are the solution.

Hmm, let us return to God's messages without the embellishments imposed by the ignorant leadership we have been plagued to accept and allow God to redeem our lives towards its true purpose.
We would be correct to recognise the bond between artificial medicine and the increases in maladies throughout the world like cancer, diabetes, heart disease and especially suicide and mental illness. As we return to the natural gifts supplied in abundance and embrace their benefits, perhaps we shall successfully stem the tide of unnecessary deaths because our bodies were dying of thirst.
