I want to do medical transcription because I want freedom
. I want the freedom to work and work as much as I want. I want to be able to choose what time I work. I also want financial freedom. I think that the lack of freedom has really motivated me to go into this field. I feel that medical transcription maybe the key that unlocks the shackles of the typical under-paying 9 to 5 job. The advantages of this job not only include being able to work at home but also being able to work in the morning and go to sleep at night. This may sound like a little thing but at my current job I have to work at night and in the early morning. I would be so happy to be able to go to sleep at night. That is another thing that this job would give me, a life of happiness.
I feel that I would be a happier, more stress-free person. I also like the fact that I can work as much as I want without my boss talking about all my overtime. I think what peaked my interest in medical transcription is when I heard about a workshop on the radio. I was like medical transcription? What is that? I had heard of it before. I started to research it and I found that this job is perfect for me. I could get paid for what I did instead of for the amount of time I spent doing it. I could manage my own time and I dont have to worry about work conflicting with anything that I have going on in live because it can be scheduled around what I have to do. I started researching medical transcription jobs at home and where I could get some training and I came across Future MT and I chose them because when I spoke to Miss Martha I found that this program had people that actually cared about me and wanted to help me. That conversation with her sealed the deal for me and the course was not that expensive. There were even payment plans for me. I think that in the future I would like to become a CMT. I see this field bring even more freedom for me in the future. I think that I would be able to set financial goals and I will be able to meet them my own terms. Instead of waiting for my supervisor to throw me a bone, I can take the helm and be in charge of my life and what I do. earlier this year I felt hope less because I felt that I was going to spent the rest of my life taking on class at a time trying to get a degree in a subject that I didnt even want to work in. This field has given me a lot of hope. This field is the light at the end of the tunnel.
