Why Mixed Martial Arts ?

Mixed martial arts is a fighting sport where two well trained fighters fight each

other following a set of rules, typically with the aim of counterfeiting parts of real hand to hand combat. There are different ways by which a fighter can win a fight, victory can be achieved either by the judges' decision after an allotted amount of time has elapsed, an emergency stoppage by the referee when the fighter is not able to defend himself from the opponent, the doctor stoppage (due to an injury), a submission, by a competitor's corner man throwing in the towel, or by knockout.

When you start out at mixed martial arts, you dont need to be in shape. You will be going through a special beginner friendly course. In this class, you will be learning from an organized curriculum that balances striking, takedowns, and ground grappling. The classes are designed to work at a pace that beginner's can absorb. The beginner's class also takes into account that you may be totally out of shape - one of its principal designs is to get you into good shape and allow you to train harder in the next level. Mixed martial arts training teaches you to defend yourself. Once you learn the basics of self-defence, your whole perspective will change. You'll be more confident and free. You'll be capable of defending yourself if you find yourself in a situation where that it needed. There is a special programme for kids in which the kids will learn different fitness exercises and martial arts with the help of which they can defend themselves from bullies. The best part is that kids will learn all this while having fun.

Mixed Martial Arts, or fighting in general, can be grouped into three areas:

1) Striking (kickboxing)

2) Takedowns (wrestling)

3) Ground Grappling ( jiu-jitsu)

Strike attack is a directed physical attack by a body part with an intention of causing blunt or penetrating trauma. Striking includes several sports like muay thai kickboxing, karate, taekwondo, Takedowns includes wrestling which is a form of combat sport involving grappling type techniques such as Kettlebells fighting, joint locks, pins and other grappling holds. Wrestling is a strength sport that requires a large amount of muscle stamina. Ground grappling refers to all the techniques that are applied while the fighters are no longer in a standing position. A large part of most martial arts and combat sports which highlight ground grappling is obtaining a superior position which is on the top. The superior grappler has a variety of options, which includes attempting to beat by standing up, obtaining a pin or hold-down to exhaust and take control of the opponent, executing a submission hold, or striking the opponent. These include Brazilian jiu-jitsu, shoot wrestling, judo. The classes are designed to work at a pace that beginner's can absorb. The beginner's class also takes into account that you may be totally out of shape - one of its principal designs is to get you into good shape and allow you to train harder in the next level.so mixed martial arts is great sports
