Why Now Is the Right Time To Dig In
The summer is gone and the kids are back in school
. Most people have kicked back a bit, extending the weekends, spending valuable time with the kids, well-deserved vacations.
Now it is time to dig in... back to business.
For those of us that are entrepreneurs and have the benefit of working from home, we now need to get back into the right mindset and skillset and back to work as usual.
Things are changing on a daily basis, and we need to stay in touch with what is happening around us, no matter what business you are in.
Routine, routine, routine. Clear out the cobwebs and back to work.
Get those skillsets updated and get your mindset back in the business mode. A LinkedIn friend said something that I thought was perfect. He said "many times you think you are maxed out, you think you may never see the light of day or the success that you have been working so hard to accomplish is impossible to see, but it is just around the corner waiting for you to make that last turn."
So keep going, do not let anything get in your way. No matter how tough it may be, it will all be worth it in the end. Imagine the feeling you will have when you know you have arrived.
Do not let anything get in your way. Prioritize your work day and make sure you get in your daily exercise.
Most importantly, keep yourself in the right frame of mind.
If you are not in that frame of mind, do not pick up the phone to call a prospect or a lead because that will be picked up by the person on the other end of the phone and they will react in a negative way.
Do not sit at your desk all day long without taking a break. Take time to charge your batteries, then come back to your office and work for a few more hours, take another break. Keep yourself charged all the time.
People would love to change what they do and have the opportunity of working from home, being an entrepreneur. You can take advantage of what you have in front of you. These times warrant more and more people working from home for themselves. Because of the economy, people are getting fired and laid off.
Take advantage of all that you have available working for yourself from the comfort of your home. No matter what it is that your are doing, plug in, dig in and enjoy the benefits of working from your home.
