Why Online Marketers Must Trust Their Gut

Over the years I have been asked many times what is the best advice I can give to any new marketer just starting out.

This is probably the easiest and most critical question I have ever answered. You see, to make it as an online entrepreneur, you must have confidence in yourself. This business isn't for the meek. I have found that far too many new and wannabe internet marketers are easily intimidated by this business. This kind of mindset will always lead to failure. In essence, you are basically setting yourself up for failure before you even begin.

Therefore, you must transform how you think and act, if you want to become successful. This is essential. You must learn to trust yourself - to trust your instincts and go with them. There is a big difference between being stubborn and believing in yourself. A stubborn entrepreneur who doesn't takes others advice is doomed to fail, but by the same token, you can't let others tell you that your instincts are wrong.

Every successful person has to find that fine line between being a know it all, and knowing what he or she wants. Once you begin to understand this concept, the light bulb in your head will go off. It takes time to train yourself to think in such a manner, but once you get yourself into this frame of mind, it becomes one of those habits that is essential to your success.

This will then give you the confidence to pursue your ideas, even when others tell you that you will fail. Set limits and don't fall so in love with an idea that you allow it to put aside your common sense to pursue it to the end. A good entrepreneur knows when to push through the difficult times when pursuing their ideas, and when the idea is no longer worth the time and expenses to develop any further.

One you find that difficult balance between self doubt and self confidence, decisions will become easier and much clearer to you. Of course not every decision you make will be the right one, but you cant let a bad decision or two shake your confidence. This will be the true test of how far you have grown as a person and a confident decision maker for your business.
