Christianity lost its former glory. Why? We as Christians fail to reaffirm our faith and we even fail to go to the Church for our spirits to be filled by the word of God. It is evident everywhere. The most ruthless people out there are not from other religions - it is from our side of the fence. The faithful Christians find it difficult to convince Christians to practice their faith. But somehow, wearing Christian jewelry has somehow made an impact in reminding people of their spiritual identity.

Why wear Christian jewelry?

You might be asking this question. What does the Bible say about wearing jewelry? Is it prohibited? Wearing Christian jewelry is something that is actually recommended by the Church, not just by the Catholic Church, but in many other Christian denominations. After our baptism, we are at one with the Christian Church. When our parents let us wear Christian jewelry, we should view it in a positive light. This will serve as a reminder for us to never lose love, faith and hope in our Lord and Savior - Jesus Christ.

Confirmation Of Christ's Love

When we wear Christian jewelry, we are publicly declaring what we believe in. Think about it. The Muslims and the Hindus wear many religious jewelry that reaffirms their faith. The Buddhists are also very staunch in this. For them, it is an act of faith. The religious jewelry they wear are symbols of their faith. So why should we be any different? There is no other religion that has been very consistent with spreading the good news except for Christianity. When we wear Christian jewelry, even if it is just a simple cross pendant or a simple rosary ring or bracelet, we affirm the presence of Christ in our lives. With this, people around you will begin to see the light that is within you.

Draw More Inspiration

When do you draw inspiration as a Christian? Is it only for special Christian events such as the Baptism, Confirmation, First holy communion and during Eucharistic celebrations every week? Why not make it something that is more permanent? There are so many people who claim that they have become more inspired to learn more about God's love for us after they have worn Christian jewelry. I for one, have experienced it. I have a simple necklace that has a very simple cross pendant. Whenever I see it and when I touch it, I feel the love of God. I am reminded of the great sacrifice that Jesus did to save me from my sins. This simple reminder has made a huge impact in my life. I am a person who is more inspired to live a life that is more meaningful. My friends also love looking at my necklace. For me and for my close friends, it is a bolder manifestation and declaration of our faith, of our love for God.

These are just simple reasons to wear Christian jewelry. If you think that Christian jewelry is expensive - it is far from it. It is not only something that will help us to be more steadfast in our faith, but it is something that is also very practical and affordable to wear.
