A quick, cheap, and easy fix would be a half inch piece of foam to place the machine on thus eliminating any sliding, jumping and roaming.

If you wanted your machine in a more permanent setting, four bolts could be attached to your sewing table at the four corners of the machine to make the machine more stationary. Wrapping the bolts with foam would prevent scratching.

With the exception of one sewing machine review, on the whole, reviews have been extremely favorable for this machine. For the versatility, function, and value this is still the best machine overall.
