-Can explore career options that they might of never considered before.

An online job search generally consists of the following criteria; networking, researching employers, reviewing job leads, and resume distribution. These activities have been listed in order of priority, however before even starting your search you should have your resume written and formatted this will facilitate the creation of a networking profile and help you to determine the keywords that youll be using in various databases.

Although theres no doubt that the Internet is an extremely powerful and economical tool that should be utilised in a job search it is important not to let it dominate your search. Whilst using the Internet you should continue to use other resources and services to ensure you have an effective and efficient search for employment.
