Why The Military Uses Camouflage Clothing

There are so many different types of military clothing

, but why do most of the sections in the military use most of their resources in creating better camouflage clothing? Well, the progress for such clothing did not come overnight and there were even parts of the history where most in the army wore bright colors while fighting instead of using the natural colors of the earth.

The changes just happened more than a hundred years ago, when the progression in warfare escalated and parts of the military knew that using clothing that is truly bright could lead to their defeat. Earth tones started to become part of their every day wear. Green and khaki colors became the most branded type of army clothing.

With the coming of the Vietnam War, the use of more Mother Nature tone developed as the camouflage clothing. Although the used of camouflage clothing was mostly developed even before the Vietnam War, but it became more popular during those days. And it was not only the military who wore camouflage clothing, but more civilians who got tired of the insignificance of the Vietnam War protested wearing camouflage clothing. It has been years since that time, but the popularity of wearing military clothing grew even bigger. Now digital camouflage clothing have become the new trend type of clothing for the military.

It is hard to imagine soldiers not wearing camouflage clothing since we now mostly associate this clothing with them. The popularity of camouflage clothing can be seen not only with the military, but with most civilians as they are now being used as part of their outdoor activities. This is because camouflage clothing as the name suggest, helps in the proper concealment of the wearer thus making it a great choice of wear for their outdoor activity. It is difficult now to imagine life without camouflage clothing since the usage of it, have saved so many lives.
