Why Too Much Texting Won't Help You Get Your Ex Back
How many messages have you sent your ex today
? What about yesterday? How about every day since the breakup? If youre answering that you sent any at all, youre already on the road to disaster. Keeping in touch with an ex is considered okay, however, it is also advised against strongly. Sending your ex messages day after day and more than once a day is called (or can at least lead to) Text Message Terrorism and can be the downfall to your already topsy-turvy world.Text Message Terrorism, however, isnt just about text messages. There are a few other means of communication with your ex that falls under the same category. This is basically any virtual form of communication: text messages, emails, phone calls, voice messages, instant messages, etc. In a general sense youre just harassing your ex.
You may be desperate but you dont have to play the part. One message is sufficient enough to let your ex know youre trying to get in touch with him. Your ex isnt going to forget that you left a message; he just might want some time to get over his feelings or even just cool down. Youre not giving him that chance by pestering him with messages. The last thing he needs to hear right now is that youre sorry and you wish hed take you back. He might already be contemplating taking you back but hes not going to know if he really misses you if hes only annoyed with you.
The best form of communication is none at all for some time. Just take time off your pursuit and youll be surprised how both you and your ex fair from the break. If you do have to be around your ex you dont have to be desperate and clingy. You can be cordial and show your ex that youre doing well enough handling things on your own.
