Why We Need A Couples Network When Social Networks Are Around?
Couples network is a type of social networking site specifically designed and dedicated
to people who are in a serious relationship such as dating, engaged, or married couples. However, unlike social networking sites, couples network is designed to specifically create a community for married couples and for people who are in serious relationships. It allows them to meet and interact with other people who share their same beliefs and values toward maintaining healthy relationships. It not only allows the couples to share pictures, videos and messages but it also allows them to share thoughts, emotions and that extra special moment which they would love to cherish forever. Besides, it also includes counseling service (which is free for the members) that allows them to solve and overcome the conflicts that arise between the couples. Ultimately, the main goal is to strengthen and unify the relationship between couples.
So why do we need a couples network when social networking sites are always available and have been around for almost a decade?
This question is valid, why should one join a couples network when social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace are already available. The answer to this question is the social networking site itself. We all love to socialize, and social networking websites (especially Facebook and Google+) have become the most happening thing these days. It allows you to meet new people, make new friends, share pictures & videos, allow you to play games and much more. Its inevitable to say that they are the perfect place for the world to unite, share and talk. So what exactly is lacking? Why do we need couples network?
The answer to this question is that despite all of the glamour of social networking, what makes it most difficult and has become the serious concern for the couples is the infidelity issues in these websites. Hundreds and thousands of people join the social networking websites, but hundreds of people leave it every day just because of the infidelity issues. As per the statistics there are over 800 million active users on Facebook today and out of every single in five divorce quoted in the US, blames affairs on the social networking website (Facebook)as the main cause of ending their relationship.
Earlier this year on The View a popular talk show telecasting on CNNs Larry King Live, Prime News and ABC, featured a story of a man who ended his 20 year marriage because of the infidelity issues on Facebook. Patricia Thomas (Name changed), yet another woman from UK who was seriously committed with her partner for the last 8 years has to end her relationship because of this. The answer to the question that why we need couples network when social networking is around relies in the social networking itself. In other words it lies beneath the infidelity issues in the social networking websites. These websites are not designed to allow couples to unite and maintain that mutual bond with each other.
On the other hand couples network is designed and dedicated to the couples and the people who are in a serious relationship. It allows them to socially interact with others who share the same values and thoughts towards maintaining the healthy relationship.
