Earning a degree is always important since it helps him to get a decent job which ensures a fair salary to support and feed the family members. And if he is intelligent, having never say die and ready-to-learn attitude, and being able to grab the certificate from a top institute, it will give him an extra mileage in his life ensuring fat salary from a good reputed company. So, original degree is indeed beneficial for anyones life be it in any subject or from any institute. Few countries in the world offer courses in various subjects more comprehensive than some of the colleges of UK and standard of imparted education is also quite high.
