These identity thieves sometimes go beyond the role of being fans and steps further to actually trying to be them. Since stars are public figures, the manipulation of information is much easier than usual. But this does not only apply to famous people but to regular ones, who luckily for them but unluckily for the net posers, have the looks and glamour. Some may call it stalking at its greatest, but thieves will be branded thieves no matter what context it is.
