You may already have experienced being promised a phone call by a man yet as it turned out, you ended up waiting for his call for days. This is a painful experience but it becomes more harrowing if you felt that what you have was the real thing. So what could have gone wrong?

He loves you but he's afraid to commit.

This man may feel madly in love with you but once things start to get serious, it's probable that he would back off. All the chemistry that you felt will all go to waste since this man will prioritize his bachelorhood. The result? No more phone calls, emails, or texts.

Things are going way too fast.

Perhaps this isn't what your man wanted when he first courted you. Maybe he just wanted something casual and light but when things started to progress, he may have thought that he won't be able to handle this well. And so, he'll probably start ignoring you by not calling you anymore.

You don't have to be the one who has to run after him. If your man felt, in any way, that you were too forward, then he could get turned off.

This is one of the most painful reasons why he's starting to ignore you. There's another woman that he thinks is better than you and so he'll gradually let go of you.

This is a test that you have to pass.

Men, just like women, also create a series of tests in order to prove their partner's loyalty and love. So when he stops calling you, this is probably test number 1 so better be ready. If you give in and call, he'll feel that you do love him too much. If you ignore him, he might also think that you're playing hard-to-get. Either way, he'll be able to tell through your actions what you're truly feeling.
