. I can almost gurantee you that you will see a child who is overweight. As sad as this is, this is now modern life. So you must be wondering why? why are so many kids so overweight? is it the amount of exercise? the diet? video games?
Well in fact its a mixture of all three. Childrens food is now packed with more sugar and sweetner than ever before. Infact next time you are in the supermarket look around and notice how many coloured packets there are. Every product that is filled with colour usually means two things. This product contains SALT and SUGAR. Infact finding healthy food is now harder than ever.
Super markets have realised that they will make more money by extending the lifetime of the product. You can now buy cheese that doesn't go off for a month. Just think about that for a second... cheese a natural substance that should go off in a week has been processed so much that it can last for over a month.
Margerine, did you know that margerine is a greyish colour with a horrid odour. No you probaly didn't, margerine is processed so heavily that it gets turned yellow and any odour is removed. So this is why our children are becoming obese. Video games are making way for football and sugar products are everywhere for children made out of hydrogenated fats.
