Huge companies are always giving away loads of free stuff. "Why though?" I hear you ask. Well readers, often companies like to give away freebies, free samples and more as part of a promotion or competition in order to advertise their product to the masses.

Everyone loves a freebie so it's a great way to get people interested and talking about new products with friends, family and colleagues. As well as physical freebies, such as free SIM cards or paint samples, you can also get free software or free services which will help you at home or at work.

For example, if you try a sachet, perhaps a free sample of shampoo and love it (can't stop raving about it and find yourself continually jumping up and down all excited)- you might then end up buying a full sized version of their product, the next time you head to the shops. It's a fantastic way of getting the message out there to potential customers and in return you could get a great freebie! Don't forget, you are the consumer, without consumers, who would buy anything? Your feelings and thoughts are important. If you aren't actually aware of the products and services on offer, they'll never get any business!
