Why don't give up on your petty thought and think big for a change?

Most of us, if not all, are busy with their petty things like their TV and their match of football, what to eat and what to drink and how to dress up, who to meet and on which side to sleep; what car they want to buy and how to make a buck in the shortest possible time.

It is all too well because we have to survive and live somehow and somewhere on this earth. But these do not reveal anything important, or basic or real. Looking for reality in our living universe id not the common lot of every one.

Very scarcely you would fall on a person, if not by error only, who would like to inquire and know about our presence in this universe, our origin, our development, our ageing and our death. Very rarely you meet someone who really interested to know about the universe and keep inquiring into its secrets and mysteries.

People have no interest in knowing whether there is a God or not. They preoccupy themselves with their personal life. After all life with its difficulties and unpredictable vicissitudes offer enough preoccupation for everybody. So why the hell should people think about the relation between God and the universe.

To them, most of them, if there is or there is no God it does not change for them their mode of living. It does not earn more money nor does it buy them a car or a house or meet the right person and have children. It does not help them, in any way they think, to find a job better their status and earn more.

To those, their belief or disbelief in God is one and the same. Only believers in God know that belief brings them peace of mind and earns the favor of God in this world and in the life hereafter. But those who deny God they couldn't give a damn.

But we have the mind not only for survival and watching football and looking for a date with someone. We have the mind to think and reflect on the universe, on our life and death, on ourselves and pose fundamental question related to our purpose of being and where are we going to, in anywhere.

Petty thinking is concerned with our little chats with the neighbor, a friend, where to go for a drink this evening and have a drink.

Is there not enough food for thought and reflection in our world, mother earth and the universe out there, or indeed in the two millions ofanimal life manifestations, us included and the flora and minerals and world of microscopics?

Chit chat does not nourish our minds with good food but it is just the opposite it destroys our brains and demolish our capacity to think on the right things that nourishes our brain and soul.
