Why is my internet so slow?

I was fed up with my computer. Day after day I went to start up my Windows Vista laptop and had to wait at least 5 mins before even starting 1 program. Next step, try accessing the internet, ok start up internet explorer, waiting, ok there's an outline of what looks like internet explorer....ok it's showing the web address....ok after 5 mins I can finally see my start page. HOW TO FIX THIS!!! First up, I don't care what certain people say about registry cleaners, they obviously have never used one. They work fantastically. I decided after 6 months of painfully slow internet, constant crashing and crawling startup speeds to use Registry Fix. I used to blame my broadband provider, my laptop memory and the amount of data saved to my harddrive but none of this was true.
