This also means that the Lakers will not be the best team in Western Conference and not gain the home-court advantage any more. If they performance as last year, they would get the home-court advantage in the first two rounds of the playoffs, but all had been changed.

Currently the Lakers are the second strong team in Western Conference together with the Dallas Mavericks. Oklahoma City Thunder is just behind these two traditional strong NBA team.
