And, after a hard day's shopping, you can then relax and enjoy yourself with the many wintry activities that take place. For instance, why not visit Amsterdam's Theater Carre, which is host to the famous Wereldkerstcircus (World Christmas Circus) for an evening packed full of entertainment.

Amsterdam city break can be enjoyed all year round. The weather is traditionally at its best at Easter,Christmas and New Year time. However Amsterdam's climate changes hourly throughout the year and rarely becomes extreme. We wouldn't even rule out mid-winter, as temperatures hardly ever drop below freezing, and sheltering in cosy pubs will allow you to meet real Dutch locals.
