With The Immortals of Meluha, Amish Tripathi Delivers a Winner
The intellect of Amish Tripathi comes across very strongly throughout the book. The detailed manner in which a difficult subject has been treated speaks volumes about the ability of the writer. The characters created by him are rich and flawed at the same time, and this only brings them closer to us. You may like or dislike the characters, but the book makes you feel empathetic for them also at the same time. The thought that there is a very thin line between the men and the supermen is also very endearing. Amish himself says he feels inspired by Amar Chitra Katha, which he can read time and again. He feels happy that Indians are self confident enough that they want to hear their own stories differently as seen from the eyes of their own writers.
