The healthy foods include raw nuts, avocados, seeds, olives, sweet corn, veggies, raw fruit, potatoes, grains, brown rice etc. A woman can eat other foods which are rich in calcium like broccoli, spinach, nuts etc. The liver, red meat, lentils, pumpkin seeds and leafy vegetables are good sources of iron. We should always keep in mind that this is not the time to punish the body by means of a low calorie intake. Even though you are eating healthy diet, you are required to supplement your diet with vitamins and minerals. During your medical check-up, you must discuss your prenatal need of the various vitamins with your gynaecologist.
If you are already in a habit of doing regular exercise, then keep it up. Only what you need is that you should consult with your gynae what type of exercise is best for you. Another important warning is that always stay away from stress as it will leave a bad impact upon the baby.
