A wooden jewellery box is so much more than just a storage box. It has to be. When a wooden jewellery box is the home to some of your most precious items, it has to possess a certain amount of beauty to be able to do them justice.

In some cases the jewellery boxes are cherished more than what they're harbouring. To the owner, this can be worth more than the contents.

Women have always loved their jewellery, even the ancient Egyptians who donned themselves in gold. The larger the jewellery box, the more extravagant and accommodating the design can be. And even the appearance can differ. Some can have a wonderfully modern feel to it, with a clean, crisp modern design, and some can have an antique look about them. This gives them the feel of being old and expensive, with their wooden look and filigree details. Some even look like mini chest of drawer sets, and are designed to look like a miniature piece of furniture. Some can even look like wardrobes.

But no matter what design you prefer, and how different they are to each other, they all have one thing in common. They're all exquisite. And a wooden jewellery box should be nothing less.
