. This is far better than the plastic toys which are a hazard in many ways. They are not as costly as to be produced and can be easily recycled. Wooden toys which are being are made in an eco-friendly manner and hence they come as a boon to our already troubled Nature. There are many other reasons for which wood are more preferable than plastic. One can never deny the emotional factor associated with this reasoning.

If we consider about the environment and the ultimate destination of many toys, which is generally landfill, then wood is evidently better. If your priority is the robustness and resilience of the material, then both materials can perform with almost the same ease.

If you are buying a toy, more people will be inclined towards plastic toys. It is very easy to turn a blind eye towards the wooden toys. Although it may seem at first glance that plastic toys are the better option, in the long run, it is not. This holds true especially for young children and kids because the plastic toys are very often found to be intoxicated with lead and other harmful stuff. These brats will keep on licking and biting almost all their play objects . It is better to avoid plastic, metal and painted toys from that list of objects.

It is a very good idea to discuss about the differences between plastic toys and wooden toys. Plastic toys are not a good choice as they can be easily broken! Wooden Toys however do not break easily. This can be illustrated by a simple example. Imagine a kid standing on a plastic toy truck. Within a matter of seconds, the poor soul will face trouble and the toy with sharp, broken edges will end up in the garbage bin. But you can avoid all this trouble if you carry out the experiment on a wooden toy truck. There will be no events of the toy breaking as it will easily be able to support the weight of the kid. So the kid can play in peace and you can be in peace thinking the toy will not break at all.

Choosing a toy for your toddler is not an easy task- at the same time it is a task that needs to be done with pleasure. So go ahead and choose a toy for your kid as it is a must for them to play.
