There are a lot of reasons why students work when go to a college or a University

. We are not going to focus our attention on the reasons. We would rather provide you with specific information on the issue whether working while studying is a challenge which students should overcome, or it is an opportunity which should be taken for granted. Searching for credible information about the problem, we faced the fact that there is no correct answer and each person should consider the notion from the angle he/she prefers. Thus, here is the discussion of two main alternatives, a work while studying as a challenge and a work while studying as a great opportunity.

A work while studying is a challenge which students should overcome

Night shifts or work after classes does not allow students have a good rest. This reduces the ability to absorb knowledge in a proper way. Students should learn to have a rest after one or two hours of work or learning. Sometimes even 15 minutes is enough to restore energy.

Students do not have enough time to study. The books they are to read, the task they are to do and the essays they are to write remain either uncompleted or the quality is too low due to lack of time. Students should schedule their day and leave time for work, rest and education. It is important, still, it is rather difficult.

A work while studying is an opportunity which students should take

Working when studying, students obtain practical skills and become more experienced in the sphere they learn.

Work makes students understand things they could not before, e.g. value of money, responsibility, and others.

Working, students understand the importance of knowledge as they are sure to face the problems of inability to do some kind of work due to their ignorance.
